2004 LCD with SD Card - no graphics

Hi

I've configured the firmware for my new board, this one:

but using my old 20x4 LCD , this one:

which came with my printer. I can't seem to get the screen to show anything, other than the backlight. Could I ask which menu choice I'm supposed to make in the configurator, as I've chosen No.15, Openhardware.co.za LCD2004 V2014, which seems the most likely. If this isn't the right one could you please point me in the right direction?
