The server gets licensed not the devices showing the interface. You can use the key 5 times, so also a fast node on a pc is possible to do the slow computations faster. If you loos a key due to hardware failure we can reset it as long as you know they key. Updates until all 1.x versions are free in any case and it will continue to work as pro even if we would release a version that requires an upgrade (at reduced fee of course). But such a step is not decided and is not expected in near future.
