I have been running the printer on the Winbook for a few days of solid prints and it is still printing without problems. I will have to get back on the raspberry pi2 and try and find out why the wait(s) are happening I am pretty sure it has to be …

I have been running 60.3 under windows 8.1 on a tablet computer with WiFi connection and there have been no problems so far.

Spoke too soon, more waits... I am going to take the baud rate down, I have been using 250000 and it may be the cause. Can't see any other area that would be the cause and I will beat it! I have knocked it down to 115.200 so we will see how that…

Might have got some corruption when it was origally installed. Good hear that it is working now

Didn't get too much printing done, the one I did do did not have the waits but it was only a 20 minute file. I must have done something to the printer last evening, told it to print a couple of times and it was printing about 200mm above the table. …

It seems that the wait(s) has been fixed. Cable from the printer is plugged into rpi2 and also the cable for the WiFi. The rpi2 is using the recommended high current power supply.
-
First configuration is rpi2, powered hub, printer plugged into hub, WIFI lan card plugged into hub, power supply plugged in to the hub. Rpi2 powered with it's own power supply. Did the M111 etc and suffered two waits. The file would have taken 13 ho…

Tried a completely fresh load on the Rpi2 with 8 Gb memory card, upgrade and updated to the most current raspian and still got a heap of (wait) in the log for the print job. Put the same card into a RpiB+ and still getting (wait) in the printer logs…

I have been trying to run a pi2 as a print server for a little while and I have been having some wait issues. I'm currently using a Mac until it is resolved.
-
It would appears to be working correctly on my Mac, i7, 500Gb SSD, 8Gb etc... That is a fairly decent machine, I have been printing all day and I have only seen one wait right the beginning of the third file. I would really like it to work on the ra…

Yes.... I will next try running a job with no browser running. The pi2 is about as raw as it could be, no display, no video just the printer and wireless lan card. I usually ssh in to it from my Mac. I suppose I could try printing a file off the m…

I have set the Communication Timeout to 50 and it looks better.... The bed heat is not going off after a job finishes even though it is being sent! I thing at a time I guess...
-
Two waits at the start (acceptable) and one at about 19 minutes into it, I don't know why because the printer is plugged directly into Raspberry pi 2 and I am using a new power supply just to be sure it has enough current. I will try a different fil…

That is looking good now, the only waits were two that were waiting for the bed to be heated. That was with a simple Marvin keychain, see how it goes with a complex one.

Lets see how this one goes Must be a glutton for punishment.....
-
Still wait(s) in 3 places....
-
it's alright... I think they have to be on my drive before I try installing them

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo dpkg -i Downloads/Repetier-Server-0.60.2-Linux.deb dpkg: error processing Downloads/Repetier-Server-0.60.2-Linux.deb (--install): cannot access archive: No such file or directory Errors were encountered while processi…

using sudo dpkg -i Repetier-Server-Linux-0.60.2.deb or sudo dpkg -i Downloads/Repetier-Server-Linux-0.60.2.deb do not work either.

I get to a point that the checksum doesn't agree and it aborts at that time and will not do anymore? I am using the one that you made available on dropbox 0.60.1. but that should not affect the new version?
-
I will dig the rpi out and see what happens when I have upgraded it, I had almost given it up... I have been using matterhackers for the last week with a windows tablet but I would rather the rpi..
-
hmmmmmmm.... Still two waits even with the thing connected directly to router, one at the start and one about half way - I am lost now... I'll try windows now and see how that one goes!
-
That afterthought may just be the one. I have been using the rpi with a really short dongle and it may be the problem. I have fitted another one to it with a lead and a very different driver software, just doing a test print now and we will see if i…

Well it was a lot better than the previous ones were, only two waits... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30430570/Unicorn(1).log is the log for it... One at the start and one at 52:57.... It is better...

Cooking my first print on the new rpi configuration.... I think I may have just heard a wait, I'll check when it is finished...
-
That sounds good. I have built a new raspian wheezy for the Pi with update and upgrade done and I have installed your file as above, I will give it a workout tomorrow and see how it goes, might plug the printer in via a powered hub too just to be d…

I am just building a new Raspian for Rpi and I will configure it and install update and upgrade and then I will put your test file on and see. Thanks for the effort

Printed another different file and ended up with six wait at various places, I think I will try reloading the raspberry again with new software and see if it makes a difference. I am reasonably sure it is working fine under windows so maybe the RPI …
