  • Hi. It is the 20x4  display. Radds display in the menu. Cables ok. Can see letters but they give no meaning. There are 4 lines. After reset top line is for a brief moment "5gpgtggr 1.0.4"  4 line "urgntgr rggdy"  meaning "printer ready" ??

  • I used Repetier-Firmware configuration tool for version 1.0.4 .And used Ardiuno to load into firmware.. Seem to me that I just used the standard items that came up.?  "RAMPS 1.3/1.4" and just picked the actual display

  • I have Gen L version 2. Or maybe it is 2.1 Installed as ramps 1.4 in the Repetier firmware, and a 12864 lcd display. Before I had a english Melzi controller, also on Repetier firmware. 3D printer is a modified Reprap. Was made off 8mm treaded rods.
