Need to setup dual extrusion in ramps 1.4 board

Hello,
I am going to setup dual extrusion in ramps 1.4 board. So what can I do for this setup in hardware side?
And what is needed to upgrade in software side? I do not have any requirement of heating bed, cooling Fan in this setup. Help me to do this kind of setup.

    What is dual extrusion to your understanding? Printing with 2 extruders same time or just having 2 extruders?
