Manual extrac/retraction is WAY too fast

In the config I have extrusion set to 2 and 20mm/s
and in retraction i have it to 30mm/s

But when clicking on the manual controls its actually WAY faster than that and strips the fillament every single time.
The printer prints ok though.

I think this started happening after I upgraded marlin and repetier host, I have tripple checked repetier's and marlin's config and I can't figure out what I may be doing wrong.

Suggestions?
