PT100 Amplifier Board

Hello,
I have an E3D PT100 sensor cartridge that I am trying to connect to the RADDS board. But when I turn on my printer, my LCD displays: "Temp. Sensor defect." Can you help me please?
Thanlk you.

Kind Regards;

  • You can not connect it to the thermistor connectors! You must use the adc pin on the long side center opposite to motor drivers and select the analog pin channel as input. Just not sure if you need to 3.3v or 5v PT100 table for conversion but both would show temperatures. The wrong one is easy to see when room temperature is way off.
  • Ok. Thank you.
    One other question please  about the ensdtops.

    I have a mechanical endstop V1.2.  Belows whats I did in the program. My problem is that the endstops doesn't stop the axis!

  • Please check with M119 if they are normally low and high when you trigger. Especially which one triggers in case you used a wrong pin header on board. You data missed homing direction but with these end stops they must have home directions -1 for all. All other values seem to make sense. Inversion might need toggling when M119 states signals wrong way around.
  • Hello,
    I have some issues about my mechanical Endstops. I tried evrything but with no success. When I home the axes, It just doesn't stop , they heat the endstop. Any help please!

  • You really have 6 physical end stops? Then
    #define min_software_endstop_x true
    #define min_software_endstop_y true
    #define min_software_endstop_z true
    #define max_software_endstop_x true
    #define max_software_endstop_y true
    #define max_software_endstop_z true

    should all be false.

    Also M119 should report them low so e.g.
    #define ENDSTOP_X_MIN_INVERTING false
    should be true to show the inverse signal.

    I'm wondering it moves at all when all signals are high.
  • Thank you very much for ur help.It works now :)
