Is there a way to switch Axis in the firmware?

I seem to have burned out the X-axis pins on my Ramps 1.4 board I am using Repetier firmware 92.x, I have tested all of my steppers and they seem fine, i can control everything fine, the X-axis is unresponsive with any Drivers or motors, is there a way to assign E1 on the Ramps board as Xaxis and just bipass the X pins all together. I cant find the entry in the Ramps firmware that defines which pins go to which part on the arduino and control what? if any of that makes any sense

    Yes you can. Easiest way is in online config tool. There you can select which motor driver to use for which purpose. If you are not using it do it and see how he did it.
