Firmware Upload Errors

I apologize for the newbie question, but I did my homework on google and the forums and still can't figure this out. I uploaded the firmware from this instructable to my arduino mega 2560: http://www.instructables.com/id/Building-a-3D-Printer-Under-200/

I was able to control my steppers but I decided to try going with something a little more mainstream like Repetier. I cannot get the firmware to load. I know the arduino is connected, but I get these errors while compiling. Do I need to reset my arduino to change the firmware?

Also in the firmware it says to change my motherboard #. Where do I find that number?

OK, I think the problem was in the firmware setup.... errrr my setup of the firmware.

I was trying to choose an LCD screen, what should my settings be for this unit?

Repetier

I guess you need reprap smartcontroller (type 2) as it looks like a clone of that lcd, so it would be clever to use the same pins.
