Wobbly printed lines when it should be smooth

As seen in the pics below, I'm trying to figure out why the line on the right is all jagged when the line on the left prints smoothly. The print preview in Simplify3D doesn't show any wobble. The model being printed is a high resolution model. 



Does this have something to do with the X or Y belts? Or could this be a gcode thing? I didn't see anything strange in the gcode. Thank you for your help!

    Happens if z distance gets too high. So bed nozzle distance seems to be not constant over bed.
