Where is the g-code output log?

As part of the First Test page for Repetier and other forums, I'm reading that we can input code and get return output from the printer. For example, inputting M115 will output the firmware type and features, etc. but I don't see the output anywhere. Where should I see the return communication from the printer?

    Disable easy mode and then hit toggle log to see it. Or enable logging in preferences->general and restart. Then it will write a log file in the work directory.
