New hotend lower and crashing into bed

I have a delta printer that I changed the hotend and it is now lower than the old hotend. My printer uses pressure sensors for leveling and now crashes in to the bed.  I would like to know what settings to change for the new hotend height. 
I did try changing zmax but that did not help my printer seemed to ignore the changed setting and still homed at the zmax of 350.

If you changed Zmax in the conffiguration.h then you need to send M502 and M500 to the printer to update the eeprom.
Or just edit the value in the eepron using RH eeprom editor
