Da Vinci 1.0 Pro and Repetier Help
This XYZ firmware just pisses me off. I upgraded my printer with the E3d hotend and the Titan Extruder. I cannot do the firmware modifications recommended by E3d (due to XYZ being a pain in the rear). I want to upgrade the firmware on my printer to Repetier but cannot for the life of me figure it out. I'm following the instructions on the site but now I have to choose a "board". Any help would be very much appreciated.

He has made a adopted version for DaVinci, just do not know which model exactly. Maybe it is easier.
I was on the GitHub link and found this: "Do not use it on PRO or Jr or Mini". Looks like as a "Pro" user the only option is to make the swap to an Arduino-based board; however, Da Vinci has started to support Cura as of this year (https://www.xyzprinting.com/en-US/news/printing-with-cura).
And with a slight power supply upgrade the machine can run the new E3D v6 hotend without any issues. Some users have run it without the power supply upgrade but mine had issues and would have sparatic issues because of power related items.
Also, I have been on A LOT of forums and what I have found is the Da Vinci 1.0 Pro requires a complete replacement of the board and not just a "flash" of the firmware. Good luck and hopefully someone figures out the firmware upload, but with the new Pi Printing board I don't think anyone will bother anytime soon.
