Z Axis Dropping

I have a Z Axis driven by a low friction acme screw.  When powered off, the weight of the slide components plus the extruder cause the Z Axis to drift down.  To correct this I purchased a NEMA 17 brake motor.  The brake is applied with no power so it fixes the problem with power off.  However when I first power up after the brake is removed, Z axis will drift down until I make the first move, homing for instance, and the drive is enabled.  The drive stays enabled afterwards preventing the drift.  However I would prefer to turn on the stepper drive enable pin after powering up without having to execute a move.  Does anyone know how to do this?

    Add a gcode enabling z in
    STARTUP_GCODE
    so it is run at startup. Config tool has this setting in general tab.
