Trouble setting home z axis Tevo Tarantula - M851
I have a tevo tarantula printer running repetier firmware 0.92.8 with the auto bed level option and dual extruded. This is a new build. I have not been able to set the Z axis ever.
Following the instructions from multiple sources to set the Z axis home, they all say to start by issuing the command M851 via the software. I have used repetier host and simplify3d software. When I enter in M851 in the command line, both software kicks back “unknown command”. I have tried M851 and M851 Z0.
Currently I cannot use the printer because when the printer run to Z home, the extruded head presses into the bed. I have to hit emergency stop and kill power then manually raise the Z axis.
How can I set the home z axis?
