Repetier Firmware + Melzi + Panelolu2??

Hi all

My first 3d printer is a Prusa i3 kit that came with a melzi board with Sprinter firmware.

I successfully built this and I'm using it every day.

I bought a Panelolu2 for the Melzi which I later discovered  required converting to Marlin.

As I understood it the only option for getting the panelolu2 working with the melzi was by using marlin firmware.

However, I just went through the repetier firmware configurator and it allowed me to pick the melzi motherboard.

Further down it allowed me to pick Panelolu2 on Sanguino (Melzi is based on Sanguino)

Will this work?
