Don't have the printer but RAMPS 1.4 is a cheap replacement if you only need one hotend and one fan. Any other Mega2560 based board would do that is in our list of supported devices, but not all have supported displays so that is something you might also want to look at. All have the same speed and just have the extra ram you might need.
If you want high stepper frequency for 1/128 step drivers you should think about a RADDS/Arduino Due combo.
