Manual control, double tap = absolute position?

I just experienced something unexpected, while jogging my Z axis down, I double tapped on Z+1 to go up 2mm from about Z12. The resulting action was that the printer went to Z1 (or tried to go to Z1 at least). 

Seems like a rather dangerous feature before printer is fully calibrated, would it perhaps be an idea to make this a configurable option and default it to off?

    That is not intended behaviour. In fact a move are 3 commands - go relative, move 1mm go absolute. So it is rather that order got wrong somehow from too fast repetition.
