Extruder offset setting question

I am running a dual extruder G2S Pro and the offset is a measured 12.4 mm in both directions of Y (+/-). What I am wondering is why I keep getting an offset of 1984 in the Config' h files? What it seems is that the units used there are millimeters, yet I am getting a number that does not match any input at all. I am running the Firmware on the Host and Server sytem.

    Offset is stored in steps. Config tool with convert your millimeter to steps whcih is what confuses you I guess.

    That makes snese. Just that it is stored as steps instead of millimeter which the rest of the data there was stored as is what put me off. thanks for the explanation.
