Auto-level and Z- zero position
Hi there - using 0.92.9, I've got auto-level working and it can probe the bed using a grid and compute the plane. All is good there using an inductive probe that physically sits above the extruder level but triggers below the nozzle height.
My question is how to validate the Z zero position after the auto-level? I'm using the offset in Z_PROBE_HEIGHT to fine tune the extruder nozzle just touching the bed (piece of paper test). After doing the auto-level, should I be able to issue a G1 Z0 anywhere on the bed and the zero point be correct - or is there some specific place that needs the measure to be taken?
The reason I ask is that if I move from one corner of the bed to the other, I don't see the Z-azis motors move - and the readout of Z-height seems to stay the same.
Any help appreciated!
Cheers,
John.
