Mixing extruder + extruder for support-material. Is it possible with repetier firmware?

Hi,

I have a delta printer with a mixing extruder (made by me )

I'm very happy with it and the firmware

I think it would be interesting to use the mixing extruder with at least another independent extruder for support-material

Does repetier firmware allow it? 

At a glance, it do not seem to support it

While it might be interesting it is in deed not allowed. Makes things very complicated I think as I already rewrote all motor controls for mixing extruder and now it would be a mix of both. So do not expect it to appear soon. The nice thing with mixing extruder is to solve the problem of the second dripping nozzle. That would also reintroduce it.

It is a bit possible as you might have one extruder going in a different nozzle controlled by same heater/thermistor. Then it would extrude independently if the weights are correct but you would miss the offset to correct position.

It is an interesting idea that you propose, when all loaded materials have similar printing temperatures (which is so in case of PLA and PVA I think...)
