Help connecting/configuration

Trying to use a rep rap i3 with marlin v2 and an Arduino board and a surface pro 3 computer. I'm supposedly connected and I followed all of my sellers instructions but I am unable to make the printer manually move. I get a bunch of orders piled up, hit start print and nothing happens, it just says its done. I'm new and I have no idea what to do now. Help would be greatly appreciated

    1. Install board driver
    2. Select the port and right baud rate
    3. Connect.

    Tyical error is wrong baud rate or an other software accesses the port. If you have also configured the server the server will autoconnect unless printer is disabled there.

    Verify port - in hardware manager you see it appear/disappear if you plug/unplug the connector. Just to make sure you are not using some other com port not related to printer.
