Hotend fan during PID Autotune / Hotend fan control via GCODE

I'm trying to PID autotune my hotend, however, there seems to be a problem with the 0.92 code where the hotend fan does not turn on during the autotune process. (It turns on full speed as soon as the autotune finishes, as the hotend is near full temp at that point).

This is preventing me from getting accurate autotune results, because it isn't factoring in the persistent cooling of the hotend fan. 

So... in trying to fix this problem, two questions arise:

1) Is this fixed in later builds of code?
2) Is there a gcode command to turn on the hotend fan (instead of M106, which seems to only control the print fan) so I can turn it on manually?
