Core xy - Capacitive Sensor for Autoleveling and Home z issue

Hi there,

I recently upgraded my Sparkcube 1.1 (Core xy) with an capacitive sensor and Autoleveling and got rid of the mechanical switch. Right now I´m using the capative sensor on Digital PIN 63 for both, Homing the z-axis and Autoleveling / Z- Probe (Repetier 0.92.9). My printer ist running for a couple of days now and Homing x, y and z-axis and Autoleveling ist working fine.

Right now I only have one issue: If I home x, y and z- axis and start G32 S2 from home position the hotend- carriage crashes into my home position (x = 200, y= 200, z= 0) with a loud vibrating noise. The problem only occurs at G32. Starting for e.g. print from home position works just perfect. In order to avoid the crash I have to move the carriage in the middle of the printing bed and G32 S2 works well again.
Any ideas on how to solve this issue? Thanks a lot for your help!

  • The only thing I figured out is that homing to Z_min and starting G32 S2 is critical in general and should be avoided. Why is that? How can I solve this issue?  Thanks for your feedback!!
