Hotend Cooler with Ramps 1.4

Hello, in the Configurator PIN 6 is for driving a Hotend Cooler in a Temp Range.
What is PIN 6 on the Ramps Board? I would like to use it cause the noisy sound of the Cooler when the Printer is in Standby sucks.

  • it can be done

here u can find anything from ramps 1.4 based boards http://reprap.org/wiki/RAMPS_1.4

note when using this u need to specify in the repetier firmware on what temp it needs to go on and of
so when the printer is in standby but the nozzel is still hot, the noisy cooler sound still remains. maybe the only way to shut it down if u send M42 S6 P(0 or 255)

also note that using these pins u can only power 5 volt fans

im using the same setup but instead of pin 6 i use pin 11

    hope this helps u
