What is Floor safety margin?

Hi guys! 
i need to know how can i measure  Floor safety margin? in delta 3d printer ... thanks

    Normally it can be ignored. It is how much space at bottom for the slider must be left so it does not crash into lower boundary. I think it is distance bed - rod axis on slider.
