No Extruder Control

So i installed the latest version of RH on a Win. 7 laptop and its been working great but, one thing is i cant manually control the extruder temp, i can change it in Slic3r and it reads out at the bottom of the screen but does show up on the little temp bar, also if i turn the extruder temp on, it turns on but still has a red line through it. Oh and i tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the latest as well as the older softwares. SO is there a setting i need to change?

    Check if you have dry run enabled.

    Moving the slider for the extruder temp does not turn it on. Hit the left button with the red stripe to enable it. Then you should see in log a M104 command appear if show commands is enabled.

    Ok, it does turn on and off, but just dont caint move or set the temp
