Renkforce RF2000v2 (Board 3.0 with factory-i2c-Port)

Hi!
Is there any way to access (send commands) via i2c out of the gcode? I tried that on an Anycubic i3 with Marlin and it works fine. But i am new to Repetier and as the Board (as far as i know) wouldn´t deal with Marlin i am stuck.
Can anyone give me a hint, what to do (if there´s an option to do something...)?

They have a modified repetier-firmware. The orinigal has no gcode to i2c so if they did not add it for some features it will not work without creating a own version where this functionality was added.

I wonder, how complex that would be. The factory-board (i851 CTC V3.0, schematics see enclosed link, page 2, "Extended BUS") provides a seperate i2c-port (X34). So i was assuming, there should be a chance to use it.

No one said it is hard. I don't see the terminator resistors for I2C not sure if they can be avr internal. But you just need to add a gcode that sends what you want to I2C. I think firmware includes already I2C at least for some displays, but since it is unused, use any I2C library you want for AVR.

Alrighty then - challenge accepted... :-)

The file commands.cpp contain all gcode-interpretations. Need to find a way to establish the communication.
