G-Code Custom Variables

Hello,

I am editing the G-code in repetier host and would like to create my own custom variables. Other g-code platforms allow for this with a # sign, but repetier host does not appear to recognize this.

Anyone have tips or know how to create custom G-code variables that work with repetier host?
