  • @twobit Yepppppp.  So the bed level, I love Enders even though I shouldn't and I get amazing results but it took me 5 months of trial and error (and I run a print farm).  So with all Enders including the 6 I highly suggest a BLTouch.  Yeah, we can l…
  • Twobit - if you use the newest image it should work? Maybe review the URL, my RPi is running at 192.168.0.7 and via any computer on my LAN I can open it with: http://192.168.0.7:3344/modules/front2/app/app.html/ The port is important to add.  If yo…
  • @twobit  - Just had a chance to test on a new Ender 6 demo unit someone gave me.  Same issue.  So I indeed think it has to do with the grounding / bad contact of the USB port on the Ender 6.  It's located in such a ridiculous spot.  What I …
  • @Rob - I am not official staff at all but I also recently moved my whole print farm to RS and love it.  Same scenario as you with several printers and I had to discover some fixes.  Just ahead of the curve I'll tell you - it's worth it.  RS is so mu…
  • Yep that does work.  In my case either way with the stock Creality firmware it did not behave well with anything sending commands to the LCD be it Repetier or other print servers.  A quick change of the firmware and voila.
  • @twobit  - On the stock Repetier-Server image for RPI the touch UI works fine for my whole network, all I did was replace "localhost" with the IP of my RPi (I gave it a static IP via my router). Repetier-Server also appears to use Nginx, s…
  • Yeah ignore me, maybe it's the 5v, I followed the guide on your website.
  • @twobit - I run a large farm, and we use many pis, and it's been over a week of testing Repetier and I have gotten great performance at this point.  I have one particular Pi 3B+ which has no known hardware issues, yet it has serious zit/blob issues …
  • Just an FYI - I had issues with my Ender 3 not displaying any information really being sent by Repetier Server or other systems via USB.  In my case, I compiled my own Marlin 2.0.8 FW with some customization and enabled the M117 and M73 capabilitie…
  • Thank you.  So I made a few notes... first - if you use the raspberry pis without a screen it's best to edit the repetier-config on the SD Card and disable the RUN CHROME option aka 0 so it saves lots of performance. Also, my issue was hardware - m…
  • I have confirmed this, I can reproduce the issue by uploading an .STL with the "Direct Print" option, any STL file will cause the server to fail as mentioned.  So yeah, user error but maybe some simple file selection box restriction to .gcode extens…
  • That did work, thank you.  I did not upload any unusual files, but I did notice something - I had renamed one of my printers right before the issue and the folder inside /var/lib/Repetier-Server/printer was still the old name.  By removing the old (…
