I entered M205 in RH and it just said "command waiting". I have no other programs connected to the printer. The Eeprom tab in RH is greyed out. I didn't think getting a printer to run would give me migraines!

I checked the baud rates and they match in the firmware, RH and device mngr. FYI, I have windows 10.

tried uploading repetier firmware and it gave me an error.... "avrdude: ser_open () : can't open device \\.\ " com3": access denied". I can upload Marlin firmware, but can't connect with software. Could I have a bad board?

No I not have the server running. Tried changing the cable, but that didn't fix it. I'm going to get hold of the manufacturer of the board who sent me the firmware in Marlin to make sure it's correct.
