I found the problem: sometimes, when Klipper restarts, the primary extruder (T0) is not detected by Repetier Server, if you change the temperature from the extruder menu it reads "NaN". Just enter the printer settings, give "save configuration" and …

Yes, that plugin doesn't just give an M111 S8, but it filters the gcode, it's fantastic, it eliminates extrusion, temperatures and fans, but not filter the board fan... it's awesome, all in realtime!
-
I'm sorry, i use Klipper firmware and M111 is missing! https://github.com/KevinOConnor/klipper/issues/2302
-
Tested again now, no issue, no words... :-)

I set T0 to target temp, for example 200°, but T1 in the Server is stay to 0, so overwrite the T0 setting, and don't heat nothing. Repetier Server imho missing this combination (shared heater), ie unify the temperatures. With the shared heater if I …

I'm sorry, the problem is with MK4duo, not with Klipper in that case.
-
It would be useful to have a separate temperature selector, or the way to switch from one to the other in the menus, without creating a personalized command with T0 and T1.
-
Tried but there is a problem. Setting it in that way (here dual extruder but one shared heater) trying to warm up T0 from the menu does not do it, because T1 is at 0, so it does not hold the heater. By putting the second extruder on "2" then T0 wor…

Damn, you're right, thanks!

I've now upgraded to 0.93.1, great work, especially on the eeprom import from different versions, perfect, thanks!

In the delta sample of Repetier 2 there's a lot of issue in the file Configuration_io, i can't compile this delta sample, please check: src/Configuration_io.h:166:101: error: macro "HEAT_MANAGER_PID" requires 16 arguments, but only 14 given src/Conf…

ETA for the V2? I've the impression that the development of the new version is rather slow. When will a configurator be available to start testing without having to manually edit the config? Marlin V2 has already been released, MK4duo has been runni…

The best solution in my opinion is to use the same system of load/save the eeprom of the Host, using the gcode command instead a position and value, that never fails. Is it so complicated to insert it as an option in the Server?
-
MK4duo has well over 400 entries, here the plugin: https://github.com/MKFirmware/MK4duo/blob/master/MK4duo/plugin Repetier/RRFirmwares/marlineeprom.xml

I've found the problem: the file "bossac-arduino" in the Repetier Server path directory it doesn't have the executable flag and this is the problem. After "chmod +x /usr/local/Repetier-Server/modules/firmware/bin/bossac-arduino" the firmware upload …

With Putty i try to execute manually the operation, and this is the result: root@Raspberry1:/tmp# ./bossac-arduino -p ttyACM0 -U false -e -w -v -b firmware.bin -R Atmel SMART device 0x285e0a60 found Erase flash done in 0.041 seconds Write 248176 b…

Added, thnaks!

Ok, but there's another problem with Repetier Server and "MarlinKimbra" (MK4duo), the "M73" command: echo:Unknown command: "M73 P6 R79 Q6 S79" MK4duo is an evolution of Marlin 2, and for the eeprom management and more I've to declare in the Server…
-
@Repetier, what do you think about this? Why not implement it within Repetier Server and Host, f you do not want to spend some bytes in the firmware? Work very well with Octoprint: https://github.com/geneb/OctoPrint-Delta-Calibration
-
Absolutely, work without stealthchop: #define DRV_TMC2130 // Uncomment if you use the stall guard for homing. Only for cartesian printers and xy direction // The drivers with set CS pin will be used, all others are normal step/dir/enable drivers…
-
I know Repetier doesn't use the official TMCStepper library, and this is quite reductive. I'm having a big problem with the motors currents value with a Trigorilla 8 bit board, with MK4duo or Marlin 2 my motors work fine with 0.9A declared in the co…

@stefanokolo, i try to add your code to Command.cpp but give me an error during compilation (endif without if), please could you explain bettere or share your complete file? C:\Users\Marco\AppData\Local\Temp\arduino_build_678568\sketch\Commands.cpp…
-
No news with TMC2130 in SPI? Not good. All the other firmware have a nice support for this driver, with a lot of gcode command for read the driver status and set some parameters. M906 in Repetier it doesn't set the motor current, when you think to s…

I've two extruder and single nozze, with "y swapper". In the configurator there's no way to not set the second heater and termistor pin to -1, please fix it with something more understandable. The "single nozzle" or "shared heater" option is missing…

Please check the "autocalibration" by "DC42" (Duet Firmware), also present in Marlin 2 and MKDuo, work really fine, in one shot can autocalibrate all! https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/issues/9138
-
But after the reset i see the printer offline, to fix the problem i need to restart the Repetier Server Service. This is another big problem, present here also with the USB connected.
-
Yes, using M122 i can reset the board also with Repetier Server, but not from the menu (i use MK4duo firmware). Only sometime the command work, not ever, and the printer is in stand-by. Inside the "Marlin.xml" of the Server: M112 M999 …

Ohh i see, not very intuitive but it's ok!
-
I agree about the tollerance, but my request makes sense, as it would simplify the whole customization process without having to use a calculator, only a termometer and M105 X0, nothing all. Why make things more complicated if they can be so simple?…

I created my thermistor table by applying this formula in an Excel spreadsheet. If the Configurator had allowed me to directly insert the ADC I would not have to use Excel or even the calculator. Entering this formula in the Configurator is a matter…
