Ah yes I was wondering if something was echoing some part of the temperature response line from the printer to the pi - the T1 part of that response would explain why the active extruder is changed. Well that explains it. Regarding the automatic T…

Still getting this problem intermittantly. I thought it may be a power supply issue causing some USB communication problem between the pi and the printer so I tried a different powered USB hub. It seemed to work better but after testing many print…

OK - here is a log extract from a failed print. The display status was turned off. It got 5hrs into the print and then had the problem at 5:11:08.793 . I cannot work out what is changing the Active Extruder to 1. It still feels like a comms prob…

I have had a failed print. I will turn off the display completely and record the logs and then post the next failure.

I think disabling the ETA/ETE has fixed the problem. So far I have made 2 successful prints since just setting the display to only the "Layer" option.

I have replicated the problem. Attached below is some log during the problem. It is acting like the tool has been changed at some point. If I pause the print, select extruder 2 then select extruder 1 again and then continue - then the print conti…

Sorry - did not mean "Host" - meant "Server". Not using Host on the Pi. I'm connecting to RepetierServer running on the Pi using a browser that shows the extruder temperatures - I am NOT using Repetier Host. I will try to replicate the problem aga…

It would be good if the T0, T1, Tn number could be set in the printer extruder settings and then it looked for that in the M105 response.

Here is an example of response when it is OK: 12:45:28.103: N481353 M10512:45:28.737: ok T:230.0 /230.0 B:100.8 /100.0 T0:230.0 /230.0 T1:66.3 /0.0 @:50 B@:0 (2) I don't have a copy of when it is bad, but I have seen that the first T:xxx is the sa…

On further investigation, I think the M400 commands are causing an intermittent communications problem. It seems that my printer returns "ok" responses rather than "ok and line number". In another thread I see that this relates to some communicati…

I think the intermittant pauses are to do with a different issue - I think I am having communications issues.

I am also experiencing this problem intermittantly on 0.70.1 on RasPi. It worked fine before on 0.70.1 but recent prints have intermittant pausing - on further investigation I am getting communications errors. 8:23:48.380: N44721 G1 X103.983 Y151…

That seems to have helped tremendously. I inserted this into the layer change script in my slicer. The printer now moves the Y axis to the same location and pauses and a picture is taken (mostly). However, I have noticed that sometimes on some la…

I tried 10fps and the selection stays on 10fps OK. However, the actual video that is created does not seem to be 10fps. I have tried making new videos and also recreating old ones - they all seem to be generated at 25fps rather than the selected f…

Could it be the power supply for the Raspberry Pi not supplying enough power for the camera? I have found the additional load on the USB creates a problem. I have to use a USB hub or a strong 2A+ 5V power supply if I want to connect any significan…
