Remote access to 3D printer

I am sorry if this question has been asked before...
I have my Prusa 3D-printer connected to a Raspberry Pi running Repetier Server on my local network.
I am using a Netgear Router.
Can someone please provide simple step by step instructions on how I can access my printer controls (and in particular my Pi webcam) remotely (outside my local network)?

if it is possible in your case you need to port forward port 3344 of the raspberry ip number, then you can connect to the routers ip with the forwarded port. This simple solution only works if you do not share your official ip with others. Then you need one of the other solutions.

Those instructions don't seem to show you how to enable ssl/https for your server. I first did the free version and

worked. But I decided to upgrade to the pro version on the pi, and I can't figure out how to enable https on the pi image so I can safely port forward. any guidance?

just call https://ip and it will work. But you can only have signed certificates for online printers so the certificate is self signed and must be trusted. For forwarding this would be port 443 on the pi.
