Wrong thermistor value reading

Hi, upgraded my Wanhao Duplicator I3 V1 with e3d v6 and repetier firmware.

Room temp for the bed is arround 25C which is okay but the hotend says 40 degrees. Not sure if this is okay or if the sensor should be more precise.

Have set sensor to type 8

Did you google it? I goggled that model and found a site that says its Repetier firmware originally, with a type 97 ? heated bed sensor.

Hi and thank you for the reply, maybe if the thermistor was original but I'm using e3d V6 and I think the thermistor is a 104GT

Is it maybe fitted with the higher temp PT100 ?

I don't have the extra PCB and it's a 104GT thermistor included. I guess type 8 should be the right one.

Maybe the sensor is not that accurate?
