Extruder stops heating mid print
Hi,
I've been having trouble with my extruder in the middle of prints. After a few layers, the temperature of the extruder starts to drop, and the whole print stops, saying in the log "cold extrusion prevented" and the when it reaches the "min-temp" it displays an error and kills the system. When the extruder starts dropping in temperature, there is no led red light on my Ramps 1.4 which would mean that it's trying to heat, but the light for the heat bed is still showing. When i disconnect and reconnect my printer on repetier, and try heating the extruder, the red led light for the extruder on Ramps turns on, but very dimly, and then fades away. When i switched of the power to the whole printer and then switched it back on, and then tried heating the extruder, the led light came on perfectly and repetier showed a rise in temperature. What could be going wrong? Can someone tell me if there's anything that's a problem?
Thanks:)

I tried another print, and the same thing seems to happen after the same amount of time. The print suddenly stops, and these weird beeping sounds start coming from the extruder. So i hit the "emergency stop" and when I heated the extruder, it worked fine, and the temperature rose. Here's the log when the print got interupted happened:
What was worrying me most was the beeping sound that gradually gained a higher frequency. Any idea if that's a sign of anything?
