SQL error: attempt to write a readonly database

Fresh install with backup restored.

Troubleshotting says every time I save a configuration:

[14.02.2022 08:50:03] : SQL error: attempt to write a readonly database

Apparently the settings are still saved.

  • Is this on a pi? It is normally not read only, so please login with ssh and run

    mount
    it should show something like:
    /dev/mmcblk0p2 on / type ext4 (rw,noatime)

important is that / is mounted rw or ther eis a problem on system start already.
Then check if database files are rw for user repetierserver:
    ls -l /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/*sql
    -rw-r--r-- 1 repetierserver dialout  3072 Aug 25 12:12 /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/history.sql
    -rw-r----- 1 repetierserver dialout  2048 Dec  8 09:20 /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/key.sql
    -rw-r--r-- 1 repetierserver dialout 43008 Dec  8 09:20 /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/settings.sql
    -rw-r----- 1 repetierserver dialout  5120 Nov 12 12:20 /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/user.sql
    -rw-r----- 1 repetierserver dialout  3072 Jul 10  2021 /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/workdispatcher.sql

Thats how it should look like - importat the rw for the user.

  • All is OK. Strange...

I will wait for next release to upgrade...
