Calibration cube - error at the top

The calibration cube starts fine then its top gets more and more pushed in the +Y axis. This is the end result image: https://ibb.co/23Gs1FL

  • Most likely cross talk in the y end stop. Set ALWAYS_CHECK_ENDSTOPS to 0 to prevent testing them during print. This normally fixes the problem.
  • I reduced the speed from 200mm default to 150mm as advertised by HE3D manufacturer, and that seems to have helped. But still not straight line cube, a bit tilted and wider at the bottom:

  • Google "elephant foot 3d print" for more info on this effect. Elephant foots are the wider objects at the bottom. PrusaSlicer for example has a compensation for this if reducing temperature does not work. This includes bed temperature which has significant effect on it as high temps make sticking filament hotter and more flexible to get pressed aside on new layers.
  • Thanks, do you have any tips on the slight tilt (Pisa tower)?
  • Can't see the tilt in images. Is the bed correctly leveled and printer mechanics square? If not that would also cause non perpendicuar angles in print.
