Why is the Updatecheck not operating system specific?

Running repetierHost on a linux machine the update check tells me to install version 1.5.3.
Trying to download this version: only available for windows ... why? :-(
Solution: either a linux version 1.5.3 or update check should know that 1.0.6 is the actual linux version!

Please check more carefully. Linux 1.5.3 is out as well and on the same download page as windows directly below windows download..
