printer wont move new install

in Windows
so I have a p3 steel and it has marlin firm  
I d/l a fresh version of repetier 2.2.2 and drivers installed all that 
the printer connects via the button (goes blue) but I can't move the printer if I go to the manual area 
looking for help prob simple but i'm missing it

    The button switching just means you are connected with a serial port. It does not mean host understands communication. See lower right edge if you see "x commands waiting" which is a good indication that there is no communication. In that case most likely the baud rate is wrong. Typical values are 115200 and 250000 baud.

    Also if you switch to expert mode enable commands/ack to see if you get any answers from printer.
