repetier host stopping mid print

My repetier host (v 2.1.6)  has recently started stopping mid print with a message say " missed an o.k. resending" I don't understand what is happening

    That is either because we get no responses from printer at all or the "ok" response was send with communication errors. In the first case resending does not help in the other case print continues after a timeout.

    Check log and activate ack and commands as well to see if there is still communication/responses from printer.
