Printer Connection Problems

       Okay so I have a G2s 3D printer and I can't get it to connect to my Windows PC. But it is weird because I don't have any problems when I connect to it using my Macbook. It at least partially connects because the printer turns on when I plug it in to the PC, but when I try to choose a port no port pops up. I just Can't figure out what's wrong, I don't think it is a problem with my printer or the cable, so I think it is a problem with the software.

    The difference is mac has most serial drives already installed. W10 auto installs many, but W7 needs you to explicitly install the driver for your printers serial adapter and with bad luck W10 as well. With correct driver installed the COMx port will pop up.
