Temperature Sensibility

Hey!
We are using the Repetier Host v0.84 software to print some chocolate. For that, we are using much lower temperatures than what we would with plastic.
Is there any way to change the sensibility of the temperature sensors so that we can measure it with a sensor adapted to that temperature range? Because it seems like the software can't handle it.

Thank you very much for your help!

  • In fact the thermistors are much more sensitive at 80°C then at 240°C. That is not your problem. I think yout power output is just too high so it is hard to stabilize as each heat peek drives 10°C or more then. Or your PID / dead time values are badly configured. Hard without seeing a temp. graph of your problem. But I guess reducing pid drive max would improve it already.
