No Start Signal

Been using Repetier for about 6 months and has worked for me some times. However, I've recently been getting the "No start signal detected - forcing start". Usually, this could be solved by just restarting the printer but this time I've been getting these weird characters in the log as well. https://puu.sh/xuYDl/f58b51f956.png

Restarting the printer also doesn't seem to help too.

    You would receive such noise if the baud rate is set wrong. So firmware or host has now a different baud rate set for some reason.

    I have checked multiple times to see if the baud rates of the firmware, as well as the host, are correct I am sure of it.

    What firmware? In repetier-firmware baud rate is stored in eeprom so configuration.h value can be overwritten. Just try the typical ones to be sure (115200, 250000). If not make sure printer is using that port and not an other device that creates that garbage.

    I have checked again to make sure that there were no other devices. The same garbage still comes up.

    Also, I am sure the eeprom settings baud rate are also set to 115200.

    If needed I can also give you my configuration.h if it will help tremendously.

    There is nothing I can do with config. You could change EEPROM_MODE and reupload. That forces copying configuration.h values to eeprom so you are sure what value is set.
