Saving EEPROM does not work

Just tried to adjust a EEPROM value (Z max length), but the new value was not stored. After disconnecting and reconnecting the EEPROM tab is kind of messed up. See attached screenshots:

I know. You can only store values that are stored as integer internally. I'm working on it :-)

The messed up thing did not happen to me so far. Will test it.

Thanks, is it possible to set this value via the Terminal?

Sure it is. It is even easy if you open a terminal in a separate window and select display commands. Then do it in eeprom editor and you see a M206 in terminal. Then replace the S with X for float values and resend.
