How to slow down first layer?

Hi!

I am using repetier-host 1.0.3 on a solidoodle 3 and I am having an issue where the first layer speed seems to be completely ignored when I use curaEngine. I have the first layer set to 12mm/sec but it seems to just be flying around at 40mm/sec, which if course, is a complete disaster. I have to manually slow the print to 30% then speed it up a few layers in, which is very annoying.

Is this a known curaEngine bug or am I doing something wrong? (BTW slic3r is working perfectly, including slowing for the first layer)

Just tested it and it works as it should be. Make sure you are using the print definition you changed and also remember to save changes before reslicing.

Thanks for the reply. I changed absolutely nothing and suddenly its working after several days of not working. That is very strange. Apparently something must have been stuck somewhere in the program or engine?
