Trying to run a klipper printer through repetier server on windows

Good day

I am attempting to run a Klipper printer on Windows 11 with Repetier-Server.
Do i need the Pro version to do it and how do i enable the API it is referring to?

I have been searching around but can't find anything really related to this problem that makes sense. I will be connecting with serial.

I will also be running other older marlin machines along side it and wish to have all of them under a single interface.

  • We can currently only control when we have direct access to the klipper pipe and api pipe which is normally only the case when you run the server on the same device as klipper.

Most klipper printers use Moonraker for internet connectivity. Support for this is planned but currently not implemented. Will come this year.

is there a way to tcp/ip connect to a different device or VM that has Mainsail and moonraker already installed to communicate with the printer?
  • As I said moonraker support is planned, but not implemented. Only direct communication with klipper is implemented so you do not need mainsail/moonraker in that case. You would need to forward the ports but with windown I have no idea how to do and with mac/linux it might be not 100% stable depending on network. So best would be to wait until implementation for moonraker connector is finished.
