Print just end in first layer sain´ : "Finished". YAY!

Ciao colleauges,

I dont have any clue, but it may has something to do with the temperature outside today?

So I run my printer on a Raspberry pi (3B +) with a non- stop case fan on it.

I uploaded a start the print, like I always do. But after a while (one time in the first, later on in the sec and third= layer its stops, sain, "finish", Im done, I make a sieasta.

Wtf. I have no idea, why it stops. there is no error meassage or something. Just some connection error ( I run it with wifi) in the log.

Any Ideas ?

best regards

  • In such cases it helps to enable logging to see why this happened. It goes from connection to printer lost to corrupted file on sd card where a lot is missing so for the server it looked like the end, because linux says it is the end. Try downloading it and see if it is compile to rule out this one. When files are corrupt on sd card it is best to install a new image. It won't get better. If it is connection issue it can be power related that linux disconnected usb or something else like an issue on printer like unusual temperatures detected by firmware. Such things should be visible in the log.
