Do you need a Ethernet connection to hold the server

I move my 3d printer to my garage I heard about remote printing with a raspberry pi I boot up repeater but you need a wire connection my garage is on the other side of the router so I would need a 150-200ft cord is there any way to have I connect wireless to wifi the connection would be bad but I’ll take that then the cable

    Yes you can go to global settings->netowrk and connect to your wifi when you are connected to ethernet. Pi also acts as access point as long as wifi is not setup so setting up wifi is a very good thing. Also change password for AP so only you know how to use it.
