Can't connect to printer "Serial Error COM" error

edited April 29 in Windows
I have an issue with connection to a 3D printer (tissue labs). I have downloaded and installed the software, but when I try to connect to the printer, even if I see some blue light sensing that there is some connection, I cannot control the printer.
COM port is correct. Max baudrate of my port is 128000, I am currently setting it to 115200. In the log, I see "Serial Error COM :System.IO.Ports.SerielErrorReceivedEventArgs. Then no start signal detected and communication timeout.
I have already tried uninstalling and installing it.

Not sure where the issue is here, would greatly appreciate some help!

  • Baud rate must match exactly or you only get errors. Most where it is relevant (8 bit boards with adapter) use 115200 or 250000 baud/ Some printers need a special DTR and RTS level while other don't mind, so checking combination here might also help. Make sure port is correct. If it vanishes when you unplug printer it is the correct one.
